Best Response - What courses do you offer?
Harvard Extension School Courses
We offer more than 650 open-enrollment courses in 65 varied subjects, including more than 150 online classes. Courses range from business and foreign languages to legal studies and psychology. Open enrollment means that no transcripts, letters of recommendation, or essays are required to enroll in a course. Simply complete our registration process.
Some courses have prerequisites, which are listed in course descriptions. In certain subjects, proof of English proficiency is required if English is not a student's primary language. In addition, some courses require placement tests. Courses with an enrollment limit fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our website is the most up-to-date resource for course information. We encourage you to use our course search to find courses that interest you. Search results provide links to course descriptions and list days, times, credit status, and other information. In addition, most course syllabi are posted in course descriptions and on the Fall Syllabi and Websites page and January & Spring Syllabi and Websites page as they become available, beginning several weeks before registration.
See Tips for Choosing Courses for more guidelines.
